Cavell Healthcare provides award-winning domiciliary care across East Anglia — helping people stay safe, supported and independent in their own homes. It’s a service built on trust, compassion and high standards, and Victoria’s work behind the scenes helps make that possible every day.
Challenges and solutions
To make staff onboarding and compliance smoother, Victoria used PASS’s home care management software to build a digital Staff Compliance Checklist. This brings everything into one place — from application forms to training certificates — and includes smart alerts that flag when important documents like DBS checks or training are due to expire.
It’s taken the pressure off the admin team, reduced reliance on paper records, and made it easier to keep everything up to date — all while helping new staff get started faster and with greater confidence.

Victoria also added a custom Mental Capacity Assessment using the PASS Document Builder, tailored to Cavell’s person-centred approach. It gives teams a clear structure to follow, helping them understand a client’s ability to make decisions and document best interest decisions in detail. That means better safeguarding and even stronger support for the people they care for.

Victoria’s thoughtful use of digital tools is helping Cavell Healthcare deliver safer, more responsive care — while staying true to their belief that everyone should have the right to live where and how they choose.
