Now you can set the days and times tasks should happen in PASS – and get alerted when visits don’t line up – giving you more accuracy, less admin, and safer care for every visit.
Not every care task fits neatly into a daily visit. Some need to happen weekly, others every few days, and many are tied to exact times of day.
Until now, managing those schedules has been difficult, often leading to extra admin or the risk of something important (like medication, meals or hydration checks) slipping through the net.
That’s why we’ve introduced Smart Task Scheduling in PASS.
It’s the new way to control exactly when tasks are due, and ensure that you’re alerted when medication, meals or any other task time falls out of line with your customers’ scheduled visits.
With this release, you can now set specific days for tasks to appear – whether that’s daily, weekly or every few days – and add one or more times so they show exactly when they’re needed.
If a task doesn’t line up with a scheduled visit, PASS will highlight it instantly, giving managers the chance to fix it before it becomes a problem.
And most importantly, timings will flow consistently across the system. You’ll see them in care plans, on visit schedules, in the PASSforcare app, and on MAR charts.
With this update, tasks only show when they’re truly due, carers see clear timings during their visits, and managers are alerted to mismatches before they cause errors.
For inspections, every timing is recorded clearly and consistently across PASS care management software, giving you stronger evidence and more confidence when demonstrating compliance.
