everyLIFE collects Technology for Home Care Award

everyLIFE announced as a winner at the 2019 Leaders in Care Awards earlier this month following a gala dinner and awards ceremony in Birmingham.

It had been a busy day on the stand at The Care Show early in October and the team were in high spirits after meeting so many interested and interesting people throughout the day. Even so it is still a relief when the hall closes for the day and we head off to relax and recuperate. This year however, instead of changing into jeans and t-shirts for an informal get together, we headed back to the hotel for some serious preparations. We were invited to the Leaders in Care Awards gala dinner, where we had not only been shortlisted for ‘Technology in Homecare’ award but were also sponsoring the ‘Innovation in Homecare’ award.

Later that evening, everyLIFE Technologies was thrilled and really proud to receive the award for ‘Technology for Homecare’. Hosted by ITTP media, publishers of Care Home Professional and Home Care Insight, we, along with some 200 senior executives, filled the Library Room of the Hilton Metropole, to celebrate diverse achievements in driving innovation and providing outstanding, person-centred care.

Registered managers, owners and directors were out in force at the event, along with the industry’s leading suppliers and chief executives from UK social care organisations. Each group voted for the other to decide the winners, and competition was tough.

Duncan Campbell, everyLIFE’s Scottish Director, was at the awards along with the rest of the team, and he commented “The everyLIFE team is delighted to be selected from such a strong shortlist. As well as acknowledging the technical strengths and service quality, it was great that our purpose of building trust in care was highlighted by the judges.”

Building trust in care is at the very heart of our company mission to empower and connect the care community and in the last 12 months, the PASSsystem has undergone rigorous testing, market research and optimisation. Just as care providers need to be responsive to their customers’ needs, so do we as a supplier, so we used the 2018 NPS survey to gather customer insights to make it possible for those developments to happen. With this collaborative approach we have been able to add specific features and functions into the road map that the market itself has identified in order to improve business efficiencies, save time, money, ensure accountability and reduce risk.

At the same time, the workforce has grown considerably, particularly within engineering, so that the changes in the road map could be delivered within the time frame and reflect the quality expected from everyLIFE.

This year has also seen the launch of The Care Software Providers Association (CASPA), everyLIFE partnered with Nourish and Person Centred Software, to provide resources, advice and support to care providers wishing to go digital.

So as Duncan mentions, we are absolutely delighted to have won this award, but this is just the start!
