Over the last few weeks, like so many around the country, I have joined in celebrating our key workers who have worked tirelessly trying to get us through this challenging and devastating COVID-19 pandemic.
In the last month, we celebrated PASS fifth birthday. Over this time, we have recorded over 400 million care tasks, with over 1000 home care and residential care businesses. We are privileged that we now support in excess of 75,000 care professionals in their work every day.
The United Kingdom Homecare Association’s event at London’s Institute of Directors, December 3rd, explored the opportunities offered by digital technologies to improve transparency, quality and efficiency.
On the 4th of September NACAS UK will be hosting Professional Care Workers’ Day – celebrating those who aim to deliver fantastic care each and every day. The event will bring the industry together to applaud the carers who are there day in and day out, in the snow, scorching sun and pouring rain; at night, at Christmas, and on Sundays.
NACAS aspire to make care workers feel special for the awe-inspiring work that they do.
This national event will be held in London, along with a few regional events across the country. This years theme is focused on well-being. There will be free consultations with physiotherapists, psychologists, nutritionists, beauty and massage therapists, money and career advice, along with more ways to help care workers look after themselves and feel better.
