In the last month, we celebrated PASS fifth birthday. Over this time, we have recorded over 400 million care tasks, with over 1000 home care and residential care businesses. We are privileged that we now support in excess of 75,000 care professionals in their work every day.
We have learned a lot over five years.
Undoubtedly the biggest lesson we’ve learnt is that transformation and improvement in care isn’t about technology – it’s about PEOPLE. Of course, having instant access to information in a digital format means we can react quickly, however, this unleashes the potential of your teams to deliver the care that is needed. PASS creates an environment where carers, their managers, business owners and others across the circle of care have an informed view to sustain and evidence high quality care.
Our purpose is building trust in care. We have learnt that trust is earned through delivering care that meets the specific needs of those being cared for AND reacting to any changes. Moving from paper to digital allows you to adapt care plans and record changes immediately. This ability to adapt care while evidencing all changes, builds trust across families, care professionals, commissioners and regulators.
But we couldn’t have achieved anything without our amazing customers; enthusiastic, hard-working and engaged pioneers who have, in effect, co-designed PASS every step of the way. Five years of invaluable feedback from our customers and the people receiving care have been every bit as valued as our team of dedicated engineers, tireless trainers, and attentive support staff who constantly improve our product and make certain that it brings the reliability, ease-of-use and security that is rightly demanded.
The last five years have been exciting and we are delighted with what we have developed to support across the UK care system. Our learnings and insight from our customers have given us a robust foundation to continue to build trust in care for five more years – and another five years after that…
