As the first product of its type, PASS defined the standard for digital care planning and changed how technology enhances the delivery of care in the UK. With materially more engineers and delivery staff than any potential competitor, everyLIFE is strategically resourced to maintain and extend this market lead for the long-term.
Strategic and operational decisions are taken by a Senior Management Team with an excellent combined pedigree, blending sector specialism, technical expertise and business development and governance.
Recruitment follows a rigorous process but, once on board, all employees benefit from a pro-active professional development plan and a policy to promote from within wherever possible. All everyLIFE employees are each required to undertake and pass the NHS Data Security Awareness training course and it is notable that a culture of compliance is embedded in the DNA of the company and its people.

Robin has been the cornerstone investor in the company since its initial financing in 2014 and became Chairman of everyLIFE in 2016. Prior to this Robin spent twenty years as an Investment Manager and Managing Director at BlackRock, Merrill Lynch and Mercury Asset Management where his team specialised in managing portfolios of fast growth, energy and energy technology companies around the world. Robin’s interest in the care sector came, like many others, from his growing personal experience of family members requiring top-quality care while living many miles apart.

Duncan joins everyLIFE from EY. As a Director, he led their public sector Advisory team in Scotland. He brings extensive experience of building high performing teams to make a real difference to communities across Scotland. Duncan also developed EY’s Intelligent Automation campaign for local public services; unleashing the potential of people through practical digital solutions.

Karen joined everyLIFE in 2019 as Financial Controller and has recently been appointed to the Board. Karen brings to everyLIFE her experience as a qualified accountant and Finance Director working in both the care sector for a fast growing specialist epilepsy care provider and, more recently, a SaaS business in the flexible benefit and HR software market. In her spare time she likes to keep fit and listen to live music, mainly rock!

PASS has proved completely intuitive to use, even for the least technical care assistant – a revelation.
My Supervisors no longer spend 65% of their time in the office typing up notes taken at assessment meetings – they do it once with the customer, and get it right from the outset. My Supervisors now spend 90% of their time out in the community – better care, improved support for care workers, and more assessments.
We saw the service had made improved use of information through the implementation of PASS for assessing the quality of the service provided, including the consistency of care provided to individuals. PASS has the potential to provide the service with a greater range of information which can be utilised for Quality Assurance. This will include outcomes and tasks completed and missed. Operational statistics will include reviews and staff supervision as well as analysis of nutritional and hydration information entered by staff.
The system reduces the time and cost of setting up care plans for patients going home from hospital by 50%. This has delivered a £20K saving to my bottom line.
